Mahani Tan Abdullah, Deputy Secretary General for the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism, says that software piracy can be mitigated if companies conduct yearly software audits, legalise their use promptly and make senior leaders aware and sign off on the software audit reports.
