FORT KENT - The recreation and parks department will be sponsoring an arts and crafts program from 10-11:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24 in the basement of the municipal center, for children ages 2- 5 and their parents.
All supplies and materials needed for projects will be provided by the department.

Great Grapes! is back again at Oregon Ridge Park this summer. The art, food and wine festival will be at the Cockeysville park Saturday and Sunday. Fun for the entire family can be had with arts and crafts for the kids, culinary samples, live music, cooking demonstrations, wine samples and seminars. More than 200 Maryland wines from 20 wineries will be represented. Tickets are $14 to $35, from noon until 6 p.m.
And what's sure to be a slightly controversial Honfest this year will still be bringing the beehive 'dos and cat-eye glasses for a weekend of decadent and colorful fun. The free event will be held both Saturday and Sunday between Falls and Keswick roads.

Camp Timber Ridge, a nonprofit science, nature, foreign language, arts-and-crafts day camp for kids ages 6 to 16 in the Radford/Riner area, will be held this summer in its 14th year of operation. The camp runs daily from 8 a.m. to 4p.m.
Cost is $160 per session for June 18-22 and July9-13, or $220 per session for June 25-29, July16-20, and July 23-27.

Summer is in full bloom (even if it isn't official for another nine days) for the 15th annual Larkspur Flower & Food Festival. This one day fete features an exciting schedule of flower-related arts and crafts. As befits an afternoon celebrating flowers and food, attendees are encouraged to wear unique, fanciful or colorful hats--and enter their chapeaux in the Bonnet Competition.
