Economics is now taught in many kindergartens in the US, and it continues through later school grades. Many kids are being seduced, unconsciously and often enough consciously, to grow up to lust for the market and market values. Frigginomics is happy, happy economics. It is a form of economics that glosses over the traditional recognition that economics is the dismal science. Every business owner is continually drawn to this temptation: If I raise the price of my product, I might make more money! Wise merchants, however, most often are not seduced by this fools gold.
