At some point in the next few weeks, members of The Arc of the Pikes Peak Region will take a vote that is likely to be one of the most contentious in the agency's 56-year history. At issue is whether they'll vote to oust the current board and replace it with people who will bring back the organization's former executive director, Teddi Roberts, who was fired in August for misrepresenting her educational credentials. If the coup doesn't happen, the existing board plans to hire a new executive director.
