• Houston-Based Clean Line Energy Partners Files to Become Public Utility in Oklahoma

A Houston-based company planning to build a $3.5 billion, 800- mile electricity transmission line from the Oklahoma Panhandle to near Memphis, Tenn., has filed an application to become a public utility in Oklahoma. Plains & Eastern Clean Line Oklahoma LLC, an affiliate of Clean Line Energy Partners of Houston, filed the application with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. A similar application was filed in May with the Arkansas Public Service Commission.
