WHITTIER - Prosecutors haven't decided whether to file charges against two Los Angeles police officers arrested for allegedly beating a Whittier man during a fight near Whittwood Town Center eight months ago. Sandi Gibbons, public information officer for the District Attorney's Office, said the case against 30-year-old Brandon James Valdez and 38-year-old Patrick Anthony Fitzgerald remains under investigation by the DA's Justice System Integrity Division.
