The letter "Global Space Junk" (BDN, May 19-20) strains credulity. Showing that temperature records from some specific locations fail to display consistent warming is meaningless. Climate change effects are not evenly spread over the planet. However, the global average is increasing, and so are especially critical areas to the climate system (e.g. the Arctic and Antarctic).
