The reports of Drs. Hauser, Cooper and Siegel constitute some evidence on which the commission could rely to deny relator's request for anterior lumbar interbody fusion procedure where (1) even though the reports of Drs. Hauser and Cooper pre-date relator's failed procedure for intradiscal electrothermic therapy, the reports nonetheless state that the ALIF procedure is inappropriate to the conditions allowed in relator's claim, and (2) the report of Dr. Siegel is not inconsistent or ambivalent simply because he notes anecdotal instances when the ALIF procedure was performed on the condition from which relator suffers but his report nonetheless explicitly opines that he agrees with Drs. Cooper and Hauser that the procedure is inappropriate to relator's allowed condition.
