Mercifully, [Oscar De La Hoya]'s corner kept the six-time champion from continuing, after sustaining a continuous beating from Manny 'Mexicutioner' Pacquiao.
I'm glad that De La Hoya's corner kept him on the stool. That's one of things I do not like about boxing, that if a fighter knows he does not have it why take an unnecessary beating that could injure one for life. It should be part of the game to go out with grace after giving all you have in a particular fight contest.
