SAN FRANCISCO - A day after the Dodgers announced Andre Ethier will miss the rest of the season with an injured right knee, all signs point to the team's right fielder soon undergoing surgery, but he'll seek another opinion.
Ethier met with orthopedist Dr. Lewis Yocum in Birmingham, Ala., on Thursday, and Yocum's advice apparently followed that of Dodgers team physician Dr. Neal ElAttrache, manager Don Mattingly said.

LOS ANGELES -- Andre Ethier hit a go-ahead homer off Tim Lincecum and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants 6-2 on Sunday to go 30 games over .500 for the first time in almost 24 years.
Randy Wolf (11-6) shrugged off a pair of home runs by leadoff hitter Andres Torres, allowing five hits in six-plus innings for the win. The left-hander is 6-0 with a 2.41 over his last eight starts.
