GREENVILLE, S.C. - Jennifer Carol Kendall and Kenneth Roger Dillard, Jr. were united in marriage at 6 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Greenville, S.C. Rev. Deborah G. Foster officiated assisted by Rev. Dr. Allen C. McSween. Jennifer is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Calvin Kendall of Greenville. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a Masters of Education in Counseling. She is employed by Anderson County Board of Education in South Carolina.

The athletic director's job at Riverside High, after turnover again, seems to be in capable hands. Tiffany Anderson, who was approved to take the position by the Kanawha County Board of Education on Sept. 7, is the fifth AD the school has employed since it opened in 1999. She is the third such administrator at the school since 2008.
BLOOMINGTON - Michelle Anderson was appointed McLean County auditor Tuesday by the County Board. Anderson, a graduate of Illinois State University with the double major of accounting and business teacher education, has worked in the auditor's office for two years, most recently as a financial reporting specialist.
A lot of coal came from that mountain, Ken Bazzle said in a recent telephone interview from his vacation home at Cape Cod. Its been an interesting journey, filled with frustrations, fears, hurdles.
