Virtually every day the American public is battered by media revelations of misconduct by corporate executives, government officials, and athletes. There are also disturbing reports of widespread cheating in the educational system, beginning with middle schools and continuing into high schools and universities. Professor Donald McCabe of Rutgers University, founder of the Center for National Integrity, has written that what they've found is that cheating starts early and grows, and this is most noticeable beginning in the fifth and sixth grade. David Brock, the conservative turned liberal advocate, has recently garnered a considerable amount of press coverage for his attacks on Fox News for, among many other things, allegedly taking over leadership of the Republican Party.
