National President, Other Leaders and Members Charged with Racketeering, Attempted Murder and other Violent Crimes RICHMOND, Va., June 15 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The National President and 26 other members and associates of the American Outlaw Association (Outlaws) motorcycle gang have been indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia. The 12- count indictment - which was returned on June 10, 2010, but unsealed today - charges that the men participated in a criminal enterprise that engaged in a wide range of crimes, including attempted murder, kidnapping, assault, robbery, extortion, witness intimidation, narcotics distribution, illegal gambling and weapons violations.

The national president of the American Outlaw Association motorcycle gang, better known as the "Outlaws," was sentenced Friday in federal court in Virginia to 20 years in prison for leading a violent criminal organization. Jack Rosga, 53, who also is known as "Milwaukee Jack," was found guilty on Dec. 21 of conspiring to engage in racketeering activities and to commit violence in aid of racketeering. To date, 27 persons have been charged as a result of a long-term investigation into criminal activities of the Outlaws motorcycle gang. Twenty have either pleaded guilty or were convicted at trial.

Raymond V. "Tex" Texter, 85, of Willow Street, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center. Tex was married to Betty Jane Aument Texter for 50 years on December 18th. Harley-Davidson Motorcycles were his life. Tex was a partner with Bill Miller in Lancaster Harley-Davidson until 1963 when he became sole owner and then moved the business to Willow Street in 1964. He operated the business until 1998 when he handed the reins to his son Randy and continued to be active until this past year. He was a lifelong member of the American Motorcycle Association and the National and Local Harley Owners Group. Why driving race cars is really a sport for men I must take issue with Bob Molinaro's comments on Richard Petty's opinion of women driving race cars I am a woman, and I have been involved in automobile racing for almost 40 years. I have worked or officiated at events sanctioned by SCCA (Sports Car Club of America), IMSA (International Motor Sport Assoc.), CART/Indy Cars, NASCAR, AMA (American Motorcycle Association) and others.

, age 84 formerly of Gap passed away at Landis Homes of Lititz on Friday, March 18, 2011. He was the husband of Helen Wilhelm Stoltzfus with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage on July 26th of last year. He was born in Kinzers, PA, son of the late Paul B. and Cora A. Smoker Stoltzfus. He was a member of Gap Community Church. Ira had worked for Claude Werntz, hauling eggs for Producers Pride Co-op of Coatesville. He was also owner operator of a milk truck in the late 1960's. Along with his wife they were the founders and worked together for 21 years as owners of the Gap Auction, retiring in 1988. It has been almost two years since they last raced here, but speedway motorcycles those skinny, brakeless, two-wheeled, fire- breathing, methanol-belching motorcycles that skid around sideways are back in San Bernardino County. Not since the closure of Arrowhead Motor Speedway in San Bernardino has there been high quality local speedway racing.
