CEO TO LEAVE: Jeffrey W. Greenberg, chairman and chief executive of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., the financial brokerage company targeted in a bid-rigging investigation by New Yorks attorney general, has submitted his resignation, the company said. He will be replaced by Michael Cherkasky, 54, who just last week was named head of Marsh Inc., the companys insurance brokerage unit. STILL ALOFT: Delta Air Lines Inc. has obtained up to $600 million in new financing from American Express Travel Related Services Company Inc. as the struggling carrier seeks to avoid bankruptcy. Delta shares climbed 54 cents to $3.78 on the New York Stock Exchange.
