A subscription to the ambulance service entitles the subscriber and family members residing at the same address to receive the following benefits:

LOMA LINDA - Starting Monday, residents will be charged $300 each time they call 9-1-1 and get medical aid from the Fire Department.
Residents will have the option to sign up for a $48 annual membership to avoid repeated payments. The membership covers an entire household but doesn't cover any charge from a private ambulance company.

FAIR LAWN The borough will seek a yearlong contract with a paid ambulance service to supplement volunteer service, effectively giving the volunteer corps time to rebuild its membership, officials said.
The borough started advertising for the paid service Monday and expects to sign a one-year contract next month, said Borough Manager Tom Metzler. The bid specifications do not include a retainer fee; the company will be expected to collect payment directly from customers' insurance plans.
