[Debbie Hamilton], currently the executive director of the ACCD's Northeast Campus, has seen enrollment at the campus increase from 354 to more than 2,000 students during her tenure. Before being selected to head the Northeast Campus, she served as director of St. Philip's College Northeast Learning Center. Previous to this, she held a number of administrative positions at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU). She began her career at OLLU as assistant director of admissions, then served as associate director of admissions, director of admissions and then as director of admissions and advisement for the university. For the spring 2006 semester, the Alamo Community College District's credit enrollment has reached 52,061 students, making the district the largest provider of higher education in the area. Enrollment for spring 2006 at each of the ACCD colleges is: Northwest Vista College-9,558; Palo Alto College-7,967; St. Philip's College-11,228; and San Antonio College-23,308.

En 1997, la Fundacion del Alamo Community College District, el Concilio Número 2 de LULAC y el Centro de Mujeres en San Antonio College (SAC) se unieron para formar el LULAC Rey Feo Parent/Child Scholarship o una beca que beneficiaría a un padre o madre y su hijo. Diez anos después, esta beca ha ayudado a más de 250 padres y madres a lograr una carrera y asegurar que sus hijos tengan una beca que los esperara cuando estén listos para asistir al colegio.

Alamo Community College District's St. Philip's College Southwest Campus, when the school hosts and sponsors the SkillsUSA Texas-College/Postsecondary Division 33rd Leadership and Skills Championships and Conference March 23-25th 2006. The TECHSPO and Career Fair will be held at St. Philip's College-Southwest Campus. Other ACCD campuses will also participate in this annual event.
