Watching another successful interrogation from behind the one- way window in an adjacent room, Detective Bobby Goren's partner Eames tells their captain, "He's baaack." Again. "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" will premiere its 10th and final season on a new night, Sunday at 9, on USA Network (where it migrated from NBC). And it marks the return of Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe as Detectives Goren and Alexandra Eames, who left at the beginning of the ninth season.
It's a workable but somewhat dreary return episode, telling another sordid story involving the Catholic Church's abuse scandal. Jay O. Sanders guest stars as the new captain, who champions Goren's return after banishment because of insubordination.

Last week's release of the 2012 Southeastern Conference football schedule created a local buzz -- and for good reason. Among the four SEC teams coming to Columbia next fall is Alabama, a school that shares a brief but notable history with Missouri.
In the teams' first of three meetings, Dan Devine's Tigers throttled Bear Bryant's Crimson Tide 35-10 in the 1968 Gator Bowl. Al Onofrio's Tigers did the same seven years later in Birmingham, stunning Bryant's second-ranked Tide 20-7 on national TV. Bryant had the last laugh in the third and final meeting, beating Warren Powers' Tigers 38-20 in 1978 in Columbia.
