ONTARIO - Area state lawmakers have introduced a bill that would transfer control of L.A./Ontario International Airport from the city of Los Angeles to a regional airport authority.
The authority would reduce ONT's $67 million annual operating budget by streamlining operations and eliminating an $8.7 million administrative fee, said Senate GOP leader Bob Dutton, R-Rancho Cucamonga, who introduced the bill on Wednesday.
