An aircraft maintenance superintendent with the 130th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 130th Airlift Wing, West Virginia Air National Guard, Charleston, received the Air Force Associations top award for outstanding contributions to aircraft maintenance, Sept. 13 at the AFA Annual Air and Space Conference near Washington, D.C. AAI transaction United Industrial Corp., of Hunt Valley, which makes unmanned aerial vehicles, training systems and aircraft test and maintenance equipment, said its AAI Services Corp. subsidiary has agreed to purchase Texas-based McTurbine Inc. for $31 million in cash. A privately held unit of M International Inc., McTurbine specializes in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of military helicopter engines.
