The Santa Fe Police Department is investigating the following reports:
u Vincent Garcia, 20, 4499 San Ignacio Road, was arrested in the 1200 block of Gallegos Road at 2:40 a.m. Saturday and charged with two counts of aggravated battery on a household member with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse and criminal damage to property of a household member.

FOREST HILL, Texas - A nearly 14-hour standoff between police and a man accused of shooting three people and taking a young boy hostage ended at dawn today with the boy safe and the suspect in custody.
Police in the Fort Worth suburb of Forest Hill arrested Joe Dixon, 57, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Lt. Chris Hebert said.

LITTLE BRITAIN TWP.: Tony Amoriello, 36, of Oxford, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and related charges after police said he kicked in the front door of a home on Horseshoe Lane early Sunday and struck a victim with a baseball bat and cut him with a kitchen knife. The victim, who struggled with and disarmed Amoriello, sustained moderate injuries. Amoriello also sustained moderate injuries.
LEACOCK TWP.: Edward Myers, 20, of Mountville, was charged Thursday with a July burglary at Harvest Drive Family Restaurant.

A Brownsville man was jailed last week on charges that he robbed an elderly borough resident at gunpoint in July.
Police said Gary Brooks II, 20, was charged Friday with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault, simple assault with a weapon, simple assault, reckless endangerment, robbery and burglary in the July 17 incident.

SALT LAKE CITY -- A Kearns man who believed his uncle was abusing his daughters was ordered Dec. 2 to stand trial in connection with the death of one uncle and the beating of another.
Kenneth Toso Tupea, 32, has been charged with manslaughter, a second-degree felony, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a third-degree felony, in connection with the death of his 65-year- old uncle, Joseph Hewitt, and the beating of another uncle, who was 69-years-old at the time, with a cane. He allegedly acted violently with the men in a July 1 fight at a home in West Valley City.
