DAYTON -- Being chosen to lead a $10 million, two-year effort to promote and build Ohio's defense and aerospace industries might seem like a tall order. Air Industries Group, a manufacturer of components for the aerospace and defense industries, swung to a $1.6 million gain from a $2.8 million loss as sales rose 6 percent to $39 million for the first nine months of the year.
