SOUTH HACKENSACK AEP Industries Inc. said Monday it agreed to buy the specialty plastics-film business of Atlanta-based Atlantis Plastics Inc., a maker of films and components for food packaging and construction, for $87 million in cash, its biggest purchase in 10 years. AEP said it plans to finance the purchase through a combination of cash on hand and availability under its revolving credit facility.
