Waukesha A child advocacy center aimed at helping young crime victims and their families through the often frightening and bewildering legal system is close to coming to fruition after three years of planning. A $325,000 contribution from a donor who wishes to remain anonymous will enable planners in the coming days to purchase a former Victorian home where children and their families will be able to draw support and services from professionals under one roof on the day they first come in contact with the legal system, according to James Welsh, executive director of Family Services of Waukesha, which is serving as the lead agency in the effort.
