Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities was awarded a $2,500 grant from the Long Island Fund for Women and Girls. The money will go to the Women's Health Services Center Expansion Project, which helps developmentally disabled women get basic, necessary health care and emotional support.

Last month, the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, announced 42 winners of its annual Housing for Everyone grant competition. Adults and Children with Learning and Developmental Disabilities, Inc. presented Seth P. Stein, a partner at the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz, with the 2006 Legal Leadership Award at its Annual Dinner Gala.
