The Wisconsin Humane Society saw a near-record number of adoptions Sunday as dog lovers lined up bring home puppies rescued from one of the nation's largest puppy mills.
More than 67 puppies were adopted Sunday, according to humane society spokeswoman Angela speed. More puppies and adult dogs are expected to arrive daily, starting today.
