If you never do more than read an Adobe formatted document, stop here. There's no sense in going further. However, if you want to see what you are missing in developing your own Adobe fill-in-the-blank forms and editing Adobe documents, then keep going, because Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional is the new hot tool in the law office.
I've gone through all the generations of Adobe, and my view is that the latest version is a major improvement, with several new tools and functions, an overall improved visual appearance and increased ease of use. Since there's no way I can fit all the improvements into one article, I will focus on those which have been added or improved since version 7 that I think are useful to lawyers.
