A few points with respect to your March 6 editorial, "Case That Won't Die":
Constitutional guarantees are not "traditionally inviolable," they are constitutionally inviolable. Amendment is the only way to override them. It is precisely Judge David G. Trager's duty to define and adjudge the , with respect to anything. Nowhere in the U. S. Code or the Constitution is it suggested that any possible effect upon foreign relations is a legitimate reason to deny a plaintiff the right to seek redress for wrongs done by the United States.
