Larry Draughn Jr. walked on the field at the Washington Nationals' ballpark last week and chatted with 6-foot-6 slugger Adam Dunn.
It was a thrill for the young Marine, who first met Dunn when he played for the Dayton Dragons in 2000. Then a student, Draughn had won a contest to spend the day with the team at Fifth Third Field.

OREGON CITY, OR - passed away October 26, 2007 in Oregon City, Oregon at the age of 96. AD, son of Yakima Valley pioneer family Adam Duncan Dunn (Bonnie Davis), was born February 24, 1911 on the Dunn Ranch in Parker Heights, WA. He was also the last living grandchild of early pioneer, Captain Robert Dunn.
AD's father, who was also a state legislator and on the WSU Board of Regents, died in a ferry accident at the Vantage crossing in 1928. AD was preceded in death by his siblings - Robert, Clyde, and Bonnie (Gregg).
