In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, this notice invites the general public and other public agencies to comment on the proposed information collection for the FNS-245, Negative Case Action Review Schedule and updates the status of the FNS-248, Status of Sample Selection and Completion. The FNS-245 is currently used in the Quality Control process for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and the FNS-248 will be removed from this collection as it has been eliminated as a FNS form through regulatory change. The proposed collection is a revision of a collection currently approved under OMB No. 0584-0034.

BELLEVUE, Wash., Dec. 22, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Second Amendment Foundation and the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs have filed a motion for summary judgment in their federal lawsuit that challenges New Jersey handgun carry laws.
SAF and ANJRPC filed the lawsuit last month in federal district court in New Jersey. If this motion is granted, there could be action on the case early in 2011.

The mothers of two teenagers killed in a September car crash in Ransomville demanded fast action Monday on the criminal case against driver John O. Schmitz, 19, of Ransomville.
Kat Messing, whose daughter, Taylor, 17, of Niagara Falls, died in the crash, said she wants the case wrapped up before she is sent to Afghanistan in October. "I want it done," said Messing, a member of the Army National Guard. "I really do feel it's being dragged out. They were killed in September and this is April.
