A woman indicted on a charge of giving false information to purchase firearms told a judge Wednesday that she did not know the man she bought them for was a felon. Alicia Wiseman, 33, of Rockport, Ind., appeared in U.S. District Court at Evansville and pleaded guilty to a charge of making false and fictitious statements in the acquisition of firearms. The charge carries a 10- year minimum sentence. The guns, semi-automatic pistols, were a.40 caliber Ruger and a 9 mm Sig Sauer, which she bought at the Gander Mountain store in Evansville on Feb. 23, 2011, according to the indictment.
