The Air Force has decided to conduct a hearing to further investigate charges that a former adviser to the commander of the Air Force Materiel Command at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base sexually harassed 10 female airmen over two years.
The public hearing is scheduled for May 26 at Wright-Patterson, where the accused, Chief Master Sgt. William C. Gurney, remains on active duty in a desk job at AFMC headquarters. He was removed in November from his job as the command chief master sergeant, after the investigation began of a female airman's complaint against him.

Col. Gary P. Goldstone, commander of the 375th Air Mobility Wing at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., is to determine whether to order the hearing for Chief Master Sgt. William C. Gurney, who was removed in November 2009 from his post as the command chief at Air Force Materiel Command headquarters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Cain denies report of sexual harassment WASHINGTON -- Republican candidate Herman Cain is denying a report claiming he was repeatedly accused of sexual harassment. In a statement to The Associated Press Sunday night, Cain's campaign said a media report that Cain was accused of sexual harassment at least twice during his tenure as the head of the National Restaurant Association isn't true and represents unfair attacks. Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon said the political press was "dredging up thinly sourced allegations" from Cain's tenure leading the trade group in the 1990s.
