An unofficial "homecoming day" for Syracuse University commenced on March 28 at the Westcott Theater, replete with sweaty pep, liquid cheers and an electric prom. By 7 p.m., all 700 tickets to the 9 p.m. dance were sold out, with several latecomers apologetically turned away by the Westcott's management chaperones.
