Voters approved several local ballot questions Tuesday, including proposals to allow accessory apartments and create a contract zone for the restoration of the Goat Island Light Station. The proposed ordinance for accessory apartments passed by a vote of 1,243 to 644. It sets requirements for square footage, shoreland zone restrictions and the use of detached structures.
