ONTARIO - A decade after the death that led to Megan's Law, city officials have made it easier to access information on high-risk sex offenders in Ontario by putting their photos and backgrounds on the Internet.
It was 10 years ago Thursday that 7-year-old Megan Kanka was lured into a neighbor's home, then raped and killed in New Jersey. Her death resulted in federal legislation that requires sex offenders to register their home addresses with local police.
