Divorce lawyers enjoyed absolute immunity when they were sued for allegedly concealing a wife's assets in an alimony modification proceeding, the Connecticut Appellate Court has ruled in affirming judgment.
The five lawyers in the case represented the wife at various times when the husband attempted to reduce alimony awarded pursuant to a 1979 divorce decree.
