Absentee ballots for the July 17 special election runoff to fill the vacancy in the 10th Congressional District will be available beginning Thursday at the Richmond County Board of Elections office.
To cast an absentee ballot in person at the Board of Elections Office, individuals must be registered and eligible to vote, must provide a reason for casting their absentee ballot, and must provide one of 17 forms of identification required under Georgia law. Voters unable to provide identification will be required to execute a statement swearing or affirming their identify.
