Four ambulance workers protested proposed budget cuts Wednesday night that could eliminate the Bergen County Regional EMS, an ambulance service that serves county facilities and several municipalities.
Ten emergency medical technicians and two managers would lose their jobs as a result of the cuts at a time when demand for the service has been rising, said Judy Herman, an emergency medical technician with the county service.
