Lying in a hospital bed with a pin in his leg has given Terrance Foster a lot of time to lament his bad luck. Instead, he has been counting his blessings. Sure, he and his fiancee were pinned, broken legs and all, inside his sport utility vehicle for hours as it teetered on the side of a steep embankment. And yes, his dream vehicle, a white, 1998 Ford Explorer, was wrapped like taffy around a tree.

Two people went to a local hospital complaining of neck, back, shoulder and hip pain following an accident Friday night at the intersection of Highway 500 and St. Johns Road. According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident occurred at 11:38 p.m. when a 1991 Plymouth Sundance driven by David R. Jordan, 24, of Vancouver ran a red light and collided with a 1998 Ford Explorer driven by Jamie L. Seward, 29, of Vancouver.
Kanawha County authorities have identified a man who was killed on Interstate 79 early Saturday. John B. Parker, 48, of Weston, was heading north on Interstate 79 just after midnight Saturday when his 1998 Ford Explorer apparently strayed into the median, according to Sheriff's Lt. Sean Crosier.

Killed when Korena L. Alvira, 32, of Evansville drove her 1998 Ford Explorer off the boat ramp about 3:30 a.m. April 2, 2006, were: Alvira, Diamond Ramey, 32, also of Evansville, Quillian L. Riverside California Highway Patrol officers have released details regarding the Thanksgiving night traffic collision that killed one person in Rubidoux. About 10:10 p.m. Thursday, Esteban R. Soto, 31, of Rubidoux was standing near a 1998 Ford Explorer that was parked on the right shoulder of Skyview Drive, west of Peralta Place, according to a CHP news release.
