  • By Paul Brand Q. My sister-in-law has a 1995 Honda Accord. When she turns off the ignition, the radiator fan keeps running for a long time -- 15 minutes or more. Is this normal? According to my Alldata database, the radiator fan relay will run the cooling fan whenever it is grounded by the coolant temperature switch, the A/C and fan switches, the ECM and/or the fan control module. Since the fan apparently does switch off eventually, I'd suggest first checking the coolant temperature after shutdown. If the engine is running quite warm, it may take some time for the fan to lower the coolant temperature to the shut-off threshold of about 185 degrees. The higher the coolant temperature at shutdown, the longer the radiator fan will run.

Schneider noted National Crime Bureau statistics reveal the most stolen vehicles are the 1994 Honda Accord, 1995 Honda Civic, 1989 Toyota Camry, 1997 Ford F-150 pickup and 2004 Dodge Ram pickup.

I have found that these tires are somewhat expensive and there are not many brands to choose from. I have talked with three tire dealers and two of them suggested substituting a 91H tire. Can you help me? - Dale Summers A: It has been awhile since we last took a look at the numbers found on a tire's sidewall. They certainly can be confusing.
