Texas-based Bowling For Soup has scored hit singles in its 15-year history, most notably "1985," "High School Never Ends" and "Girls All the Bad Guys Want," which received an out-of-left-field Grammy nomination in 2003. Not bad for a band that pop punks its way through latent teenage angst.

In the return of USA Network's satisfying "Monk" at 10 tonight, sidekick Traylor Howard will take one look at a rude fashion designer and conclude, "He did it." That's pretty clever of the show, since the bossy designer is played by Malcolm McDowell of "A Clockwork Orange" and it's what viewers are thinking anyway.
