Rollicking bands of pirates will be swashbuckling through Sleepy Hollow during Philipsburg Manor's Fourth of July weekend festival, "Pirates of the Hudson: The Siege of Sleepy Hollow." The family- friendly event will feature live music, gypsy sword dancers, roaming pirates and games.

The Gen. Robert S. Garnett Camp No. 1470 Sons of Confederate Veterans is accepting new members who have ancestors who served honorably in the Army of the Confederacy during the Civil War.
