That's especially true with the troupe's upcoming production -- Sheherazade: 1001 Arabian Nights -- which is a wonderful hybrid of stories about magical genies, rebellious princesses and evil villains. Over the years, participants in Santa Fe's various youth theater programs have found themselves bereft as they grow up and out -- so much so that many return to their theatrical nests as volunteer coaches or technicians. "Untitled (Spring Corn)" depicts a plowed, muddy field with shoots of corn barely rising above the soil. The horizon is high, and a few distant trees are visible on the ridgeline at left.
